Patient Service Representative
Edward-Elmhurst Medical Group

Full-time, DAYs/PMs

Location: Elmhurst - Center for Health, Gastroenterology & Rheumatology

Office hours: 7:30a-7:30p M-F and 8-1p on Saturday. Will work 1-2 later shifts/week and rotating 1/2 day Saturdays.

As a Patient Service Representative, you will serve in the vital role of representing the health system to patients that choose our organization for their healthcare needs.

In this role, you will:

• Greet patients and visitors with a smile when they arrive at one of our facilities
• Utilize the kiosk to help patients with registrations
• Verify all patients are registered with current demographic and insurance data
• Collect payments from patients
• Scan all necessary identification and insurance cards
• Scheduling appointments
  REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to multi-task, have excellent verbal/computer skills, type 35-40wpm and have at least one year of office or customer service experience - preferably in a medical setting. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
