Full-Time - Competitive Pay - Growth Opportunities 2nd Shift - Mondays through Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 5:30pm, Thursdays are overtime during the busy season.

Be a key part of the production flow that powers innovative, high-quality learning environments. Palmer Hamilton is seeking a reliable and proactive Material Handler to help keep our operations moving efficiently and effectively.

Position Overview:
As a Material Handler, you will play a vital support role in the manufacturing process by ensuring each station is fully prepared with the necessary materials, tools, and components. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help keep our production lines running smoothly and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
-Set up workstations promptly and accurately for trim, weld, and fabrication teams.
-Transport materials and finished products throughout the department as directed.
-Monitor and follow the daily production schedule to anticipate team needs.
-Use the inventory control scanning system to track tools, fixtures, and supplies.
-Learn basic functions of the Trimmer position to provide support when needed.
-Perform minor maintenance tasks and basic construction duties within the department.

-Maintain a high level of attention to detail and watch for component defects.
-Communicate clearly and promptly with coworkers, team leaders, and supervisors.
-Support a collaborative team environment by stepping into various roles as needed.
-Contribute to achieving production goals and department success through teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications:
-Willingness to become Forklift certified.
-Experience using basic power hand tools such as rivet guns, screw guns, impacts, and drills.
-Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly.
-Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
-Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
-Excellent time management and organizational skills.
