team through our employee recognition programs Job Description:About the Role:As a Warehouse and Logistics Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to apply business and supply chain principles to support and improve site operations.
The Warehouse and Logisitcs team has a wide breadth of expertise in a variety of food categories and warehouse platforms.
You will work independently and as part of various teams on assigned tasks with assistance and support from the team.
You can expect hands on experiences working on engaging projects to improve and standardize processes while on-site alongside experienced professionals to gain real world insight and knowledge.Locations Include: Northern IllinoisExamples of project:Standardizing processes across the networkWarehouse layout review and improvementsKPI data evaluationExperience an intern will gain:
Project leadershipExposure to industrial food grade warehousing practices for raw materials and finished goodsWorking with cross functional team members to understand how each role impacts movement of goods through the networkSAP and other ERP solutions
Qualifications:2-3 years of progress towards a Bachelor's degree (Junior or Senior) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate a continuous improvement mindsetAbility to develop strong relationships and influence others through partnershipSelf-directed and motivated Your TreeHouse Foods Career is Just a Click Away!
