Department: Human ResourcesWork Type: Full Time (Total FTE between 0. 9 and 1. 0)Shift: Shift 1Work Schedule: 8 Hr. Summary:
Responsible for performing full life cycle recruitment activities while building and maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and the Rush Oak Park Hospital community at large. Incumbent will be instrumental in providing high quality candidates to fill hiring needs by implementing targeted sourcing initiatives, leveraging social networking, and other recruitment tools with sense of urgency, enhancing the hiring manager and candidate/customer experience. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. Responsibilities:
Manage full life cycle recruitment activities, including but not limited to requisition intake and debrief on desirable candidate attributes, advertise job externally/source candidates, screen/prequalify, interview candidates to determine competencies and qualifications for employment, and prepare/negotiate candidate offer.
Proactively search active and passive talent in order to develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates across client groups, levels within the organization and attract a diverse applicant pool.
Monitors current and national trends and ideas in recruitment and retention. Incorporates programs/initiatives as appropriate.
Works within established budgetary guidelines as it relates to recruitment/advertising activity. Recommends advertising sources for management as needed.
Plans for and represents Rush Oak Park Hospital at career fairs, seminars, special events and/or committees.
Prepares and presents recruitment activity reports on a routine basis to department leaders as requested.
Adheres to and promotes all employment legislation and regulatory requirements, including equal employment opportunity objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned. Other information:
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree.
Minimum of three years of full life cycle recruitment experience.
Knowledgeable of employment law and regulations.
Experience with applicant tracking.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Products.
Excellent verbal, written communication skills and organizational skills.
Strong client management expertise with experience in building and cultivating relationships.
Ability to exercise independent judgment, self-motivated to resolve problems, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high recruitment volume and manage projects simultaneously.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Healthcare experience.
