Heggerty is looking for a talented Account Specialist to join our growing team in Oak Park, IL. Options for hybrid work are available!The Account Specialist is responsible for answering -customer questions about Heggerty products, both by phone and by email. The ideal candidate has a customer-centric mindset along with a deep understanding of phonemic awareness and the science of reading. -Heggerty is an education publishing organization that offers an elementary literacy curriculum that is taught in more than 24,000 schools in the United States, Australia, and Canada. In addition to selling a teacher-friendly curriculum, flashcards, and other materials, Heggerty offers professional development services to educators, providing hands-on seminars and training sessions. -Responsibilities

• Provide purchasing recommendations for individual, school-based, and small district-based customers
• Facilitate product overview calls for individual, school-based, and small district-based customers
• Be deeply knowledgeable of our product offerings, phonemic awareness, and how it fits in with the Science of Reading movement
• Be aware of all resources available to customers to support their implementation of the Heggerty Curriculum
• Assist with generating price quotes for individual, school-based, and small district-based customers -Requirements -
  • Curiosity, empathy, and a passion for our mission
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Elementary Education required
  • Experience using or teaching the Heggerty curriculum preferred -
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required -
