Job Description:
A national leader in luxury fitness, StretchLab, is looking for
amazing talent to join our team as the Studio Manager for our NEW
studio opening in Oak Park, Illinois in spring 2022. We are looking
for a motivated individual who is motivated by numbers, achieving

- Position Requirements:
- 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience
preferred
- Confident in generating personal sales and supervising sales
team
- Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including
memberships and retail
- Previous management or supervisory experience required
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication and strong
interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
- Must be solution-based and results oriented, competitive
spirit
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes
using good judgement
- An affinity and passion for fitness
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to
prioritize and meet deadlines

*This is a full-time position. Candidate must be able to work a
flexible schedule with nights and weekend availability. - New
Studio Opening Duties: - Opening of the New Studio: Presales, Soft
Opening, and Grand Opening (approximately 16 weeks) Weeks 1-6
(approximate): -
- Organize a hiring event to attract a higher volume of qualified
employees for both Flexologist and Sales. Also, employ grassroots
strategies for recruiting candidates.
- Post jobs via Hireology, review resumes, and conduct interviews
to hire a few qualified employees early on in order to have them
complete training in time to do pop-up events. -
- Contact prospects/leads to sell memberships at a discounted
rate prior to opening the studio.
- Attend a StretchLab Studio Manager training to learn role
responsibilities, complete online training modules, and work shifts
in an open studio to learn about StretchLab's products and systems.

- Contact local businesses to form relationships in order to
schedule pre-sale events. Also, research community events that
StretchLab can participate in. Attend any relevant networking
events. -
- Biweekly meeting with the Area Manager to discuss
presales.
- Meet presale hiring and selling goals.
- Manage social media accounts, delegation encouraged. -
- Other duties as assigned.
Weeks 7-16 (Approximate)
- Schedule and attend 4-6 pop-up events a week to sell
memberships at a discounted price before studio opening. Towards
the end of this phase, transfer to in-studio demo stretches 6-7
days a week.
- Contact prospects/leads to sell memberships at a discounted
rate prior to opening the studio.
- Host a hiring event to recruit qualified candidates for the
Flexologist and Sales positions before studio opening.
- Post jobs via Hireology, review resumes, and conduct interviews
to hire a few qualified employees.
- As soon as the construction of the new studio commences,
organize and oversee the setup of the new studio to prepare for
in-studio events.
- Biweekly meeting with the Area Manager to discuss
presales.
- Meet presale hiring and selling goals.
- Manage social media accounts, delegation encouraged.
- Make plans for Soft Opening & Grand Opening.
- Other duties as assigned.
Week 16-21 (Approximate)
- Oversee Soft Opening festivities.
- Finish planning Grand Opening festivities.
- Activate presale members and oversee customer questions and
account issues. Switch from demo stretches to intro
stretches.
- Write a schedule for the open studio.
- Contact prospects/leads to schedule StretchLab sessions or
group stretches and enroll them in a membership.
- Host a hiring event to recruit qualified candidates for the
Flexologist and Sales positions before studio opening.
- Post jobs via Hireology, review resumes, and conduct interviews
to hire qualified employees.
- Meet presale hiring and selling goals.
- Manage social media accounts, delegation encouraged.
- Other duties as assigned.
Week 22 (Approximate)
- Oversee Grand Opening Festivities. -
- Transition to Open Studio Studio Manager role (see below)
- Open Studio Duties: - Quarterly
- Lead Quarterly Sales Training - (1.5 hour meeting / 30 min prep
time) Monthly
- Have monthly one on one's with each of your sales team to
review job performance and metrics
- Track and submit payroll information to Area Manager
bi-monthly.
- Plan two pop-up events or studio events for every month. Write
the schedule for the event for both Sales Supervisors and
Flexologists.
- Create and send bi-monthly newsletter to leads/members using
EMMA to communicate studio events and promotions.
- Add new retail items to inventory or delegate responsibility to
a Sales Supervisor
- Submit office supply orders to the Area Manager on a monthly or
bi-monthly basis
- Train Sales Supervisors who are comfortable with the normal
daily/weekly work flow on one management task and oversee them in
taking ownership of that task on a weekly basis. Every Sales
Supervisor should work towards at least one specialty task to do
weekly while working their normal shifts.
Weekly
- Review employee punches and make any corrections on a weekly
basis.
- Reach out to one new business weekly to forge a new partnership
for events and networking (1 hour per week). -
- Respond to Sales Supervisor Requests Off (15 min a
week)
- Review Flexologist Resumes Weekly (15 min a week)
- Review Sales Supervisor Resumes Weekly in Hireology and
maintain notes and status on all candidates. (15 min a
week)
- Conduct sales interviews (1 hour per interview).
- Write the studio's sales schedule and enter the schedule into
When I Work (45 min a week).
Daily
- Contact prospects/leads to schedule StretchLab sessions or
group stretches and enroll them in a membership -
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Administration Duties.
(30-35 hours combined with sales)
- Daily role play with sales staff/Flex (20 min)
- Manage the studio's social media accounts and marketing
opportunities. Encouraged to delegate strategically (15 minutes a
day. Optional to delegate to a Sales Supervsior).
- Turn around Members requests to freeze or cancel accounts (1
hour a day).
- Answering emails (1-2 hours a day)
- Track daily sales/commission/performance metrics (5 minutes a
day).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the StretchLab
Studio.
Ongoing
- Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales
goals.
- Train new Sales Supervisors in job responsibilities.
- Provide exceptional level of customer service at the studio for
members via face-to-face service, phone, text and email.
- Become proficient at Club Ready software to troubleshoot client
account inquiries and possible sales opportunities.
- Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures for both customers
and employees.
- Drive retail sales and single StretchLab session sales.
Encouraged to delegate retail.
- Assist Area Manager with recruiting through events and
grassroots marketing to obtain top talent
