Job Description: -Family in Oak Park is seeking a 2/day week nanny for their 2 children, preschooler and infant. They are seeking someone friendly, fun, and proactive to join their team. ASAP start date.Compensation: $25-$27/hr. + PTO, vacation, holidaysSchedule: Guaranteed 16 hours per week. Tuesday & Thursday 9am - 5pm.Job Details and Responsibilities:

  • 1 preschooler in part-time school. One infant at home full-time.
  • Primary responsibility is the children: making meals/snacks, picking up from preschool, educational and fun activities, facilitating naps/quiet times, tummy time, etc.
  • Actively engaging with the children in fun, yet educational activities, inside and out of doors.
  • Weather permitting, taking the children out to activities.
  • Nanny should be able to develop a daily schedule and balance the needs of 2 children.
  • Additional responsibilities include light housekeeping, tidying toys, sanitizing bottles, child meal prep, children's laundry, etc.
  • One parent works from home full-time.Qualifications:
    • Nanny should have long-term verifiable experience working as a nanny.
    • Experience in early childhood education is a bonus but not required.
    • Nanny should have strong communication skills and be receptive to feedback and working as a team with the parents.
    • Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. Nanny should be able to provide a car for use on the job. If needed, nanny may be able to use family car.
