Job DescriptionHeggerty is looking for a talented Customer Support Associate to join our growing team. Flexible options for hybrid work are available! The Customer Support Associate is responsible for managing customer support tickets and phone queues by responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner. The Customer Support Associate also resolves customer concerns or issues related to exchanges, returns, delivery issues, order submission issues, and technical support in a prompt and friendly way. They are the first point of contact most customers have with our company and are responsible for understanding a broad range of customer-facing information. Heggerty is an education publishing organization that offers an elementary literacy curriculum that is taught in more than 24,000 schools in the United States, Australia, and Canada. In addition to selling a teacher-friendly curriculum, flashcards, and other materials, Heggerty offers professional development services to educators, providing hands-on seminars and training sessions. Responsibilities

  • Respond to "tier 1" related questions related to the ordering process, product pricing information, and vendor information requests.
  • Efficiently escalate questions as needed to respective teams, including Web Developers, Professional Development, Accounting, and Sales
  • Provide customer feedback to Customer Support Manager, Director of Operations and relevant teams.
  • Assist with Quality Assurance checks, school district information research and data entry, and other administrative procedures.
  • Additional administrative duties or special projects as requested by the Customer Support Manager to support the Customer Support and Operations teams. Requirements
    • Curiosity, empathy, and a passion for our mission
    • 1-3 years of experience in a customer support or customer service role strongly preferred
    • Experience in Elementary Education using or teaching the Heggerty curriculum preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits
