CNC Lathe Set Up Operator Schaumburg, IL - Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm (M-F) Pay: $22.00-$30.00 / hour Well established company is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setup/Operator. Most of the machines are Mazak running Mazatrol programs. This role is focused on setting up and operating repeat jobs using existing programs - no programming required. Responsibilities - Set up Mazak CNC lathes and mill/turns using existing Mazatrol programs. - Load tooling, set offsets, and verify setups before running jobs. - Once approved for production, produce all parts to print and quality standards. - Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges. - Keep work area clean, organized, and safe. Qualifications - 3 years of CNC lathe setup experience. - Strong knowledge of Mazak controls and Mazatrol programs. - Ability to read blueprints and work to standard tolerances. - Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. - High school diploma or GED required. Extra Credit (not required) - Knowledge of G-code - Experience with manual lathes - Prior use of ProShop ERP software ZR Must pass a 5-Panel Drug Screen.
