Job Description Job Description Injection Molding Set up Technician/Assistant Supervisor 2nd/3rd Shift HQC Inc - Oswego, IL Starting Pay $22.00 and up depending on experience 2nd Shift: 2:45pm-11:15pm 3rd Shift: 10:45PM to 7:15AM HQC Incorporated Profile: HQC is a plastic injection molding company in business for 38 years and in Oswego for 29 years. We operate a clean modern air-conditioned facility making parts for food packaging, medical devices, and personal care products. We provide high quality high reliability services to our customers. HQC Operates 24/7. Your schedule may require you to work weekdays, Saturday, and/or Sunday as needed. You will not be required to work every weekend. Benefits: - 7 paid Holidays starting after 30 days - 40 hours PTO (paid time off) after 90 days, additional days will follow - Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, 1st of the month after 60 days - 401(k) with up to 4% company match after 90 days (100% vesting from start) - Opportunities for advancement Job Overview The Set up Technician will need to know and continue to learn about injection molding machines, and misc. other equipment. Growth opportunity. Some of the following may be in your daily job duties: - Color Changes - Troubleshooting machines and auxiliary equipment issues - Making corrections to machine settings, if required to correct defects - Learn to run the shift when the supervisor is not present - Follow all company policies and procedures and ensure all other employees are following them also. Safety is the 1 priority at HQC - Learn to inspect and pack products, so you can relieve packers for breaks and/or lunches - Learn about materials - Help keep the area neat and clean - Learn and perform other duties as assigned Requirements: - Mechanically inclined - Experience around injection molding equipment (preferably molding machines) - Able to read, write, understand and speak English. - Injection Molding experience required.
