Join Our Team as a Senior Managing Technology & AI Counsel! We are
seeking a creative, high-energy attorney passionate about the
intersection of law, business, technology, and data. In this role,
you will join the Business Law division of Allstate’s Law and
Regulation department, providing strategic and practical legal
counsel to Allstate’s technology organization and supporting
enterprise-wide initiatives in technology, privacy, and artificial
intelligence. As a recognized senior subject matter expert and
trusted business partner, you will leverage advanced business
acumen to guide the development of new products—including both
regulated and non-insurance offerings—as well as innovative
technology initiatives and emerging technologies. This role
requires a collaborative, cross-functional approach to drive
effective outcomes and shape the future of technology and AI at

technology and AI at Allstate! Key Responsibilities Real time and
critical business-focused legal advice on emerging business issues,
risks and initiatives primarily in areas of technology, insurance
regulation, privacy, artificial intelligence, and consumer
protection. Proactively conduct complex research on the application
of pertinent laws, regulations, and other legal authorities to
emerging technologies and ability to collaborate across functions
to determine impacts to the business and to concisely explain these
impacts to business stakeholders. Conduct risk analyses on key
issues, looking at issues from a holistic perspective, recognizing
overall impact to the enterprise; makes strategic recommendations
for risk management. Play a key role in strategy determination,
action planning, and communication with business partners, business
units and other areas of the law department. Anticipate legal
concerns and provide creative problem solving in a dynamic business
environment. Understand the dynamics of working within a highly
regulated environment including the interactions between business
partners, technology, compliance, risk, government relations and
other legal teams. Comfort with executing on goals and objectives
through ambiguity and in a changing business and legal landscape.
Assist in building a culture of constructive debate and
conversations with a virtual team across multiple locations. A
typical day for a Senior Managing Counsel might include: Advising
business partners on insurance regulatory legal issues that impact
a new technology product design or rollout. Coordinating,
understanding, and synthesizing complex legal advice from other
attorneys within the legal department and outside experts to advise
business partners in a simple, direct manner. Building or improving
processes for seamless legal and compliance review of emerging
technologies. Driving implementation of a compliance plan. We are

simultaneously. Education & Experience J.D is required and active
bar membership in good standing 10 years legal experience in a law
firm or an in-house legal department for a mid- to large-sized
company with a focus on technology and emerging businesses. Strong
Experience in the following areas: insurance regulation, privacy,
technology, and artificial intelligence. Knowledge of intellectual
property, cybersecurity, and/or other highly regulated industries
Advanced experience advising technology teams Ability to manage
outside counsel and budgets Key Competencies & Functional Skills
Strong leadership skills, including team building, collaboration,
coaching, and guiding others. Executive presence with excellent
verbal and written communication, delivered concisely and
effectively. Budget and project management experience. Proficiency
in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite,
relevant to job responsibilities. Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities. Discretion and ability to maintain
confidentiality with sensitive information. Business acumen, with
the ability to quantify ROI, develop business cases, and contribute
to risk evaluations. Remote Work & Travel Expectations This is a
remote role with travel expectations. While candidates may be
located anywhere in the U.S., travel will primarily be to
Chicago/Northbrook, IL, with occasional travel to Dallas, TX;
Charlotte, NC; Scottsdale, AZ; or other sites as needed due to team
collaboration and business travel considerations. Supervisory

Compensation Compensation offered for this role is $150, 000.00 -
$225, 000.00 annually and is based on experience and
