About the Opportunity As our Clinical Director , you will lead the Wellness Department with the goal of creating a safe, warm, and supportive environment where residents can achieve their highest level of wellness and independence. In this role, you will: Oversee all Wellness operations and ensure exceptional resident care Lead, mentor, and develop a high?performing clinical team Maintain strong communication with residents, families, primary care providers, and external partners Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Resident Rights, infection control, and all state regulations Support onboarding and orientation for new residents and team members Promote teamwork, open communication, and a positive culture Protect resident and staff safety through proactive monitoring and immediate action Manage staffing levels based on acuity, regulations, and community needs Conduct ongoing in?services, training, and team meetings Step in for the Executive Director when needed to ensure smooth community operations This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to excellence in senior care. Critical Success Factors We’re looking for candidates who bring: An active, unencumbered nursing license valid in Wisconsin Required state?specific certifications At least one year of experience in assisted living or healthcare Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred Current CPR certification Strong communication, leadership, and problem?solving skills A passion for supporting both residents and team members Why Sunset Woods?
