Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
Occupational Therapist position is available to provide specialized
support across two to three school campuses located in the North
Chicago/Waukegan area of Lake County, Illinois. This contract role
involves working approximately 20 hours per week, spread over two
to three days, allowing for a balanced schedule while making a
significant impact on student well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the developmental
and educational needs of students. Oversee and coordinate therapy
programs across multiple campuses within the designated region.
Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to
develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary
to facilitate optimal outcomes. Maintain compliance with relevant
state regulations and documentation standards. Qualifications and
Experience: Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related
field from an accredited institution. Minimum of three years of
experience providing occupational therapy services within a school
environment. Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the
State of Illinois. Registration with the Illinois Department of
Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Strong communication
and organizational skills to manage responsibilities across
multiple campuses. Location: Evanston, IL, with primary
responsibilities at schools in the North Chicago/Waukegan area.
This role is ideal for a dedicated occupational therapist seeking a
