Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Grafton, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,236 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Critical Care Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: RN, ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 3 years of ICU experience; preference for CRRT experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Required: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: General ICU experience: - Vent/trach management - Invasive line management (A-line, CVP, Swann) - Drains/tube management - Foley management - Chest tube management - Post-surgical recovery - Post catheterization experience - Fresh heart experience (preferred) - CVVH - Balloon Pumps - CRRT experience (NxStage preferred) Description: Level III Trauma Center with a Level II NICU Primary Stroke Center 136 total beds with 17 in ICU COVID vaccine required Patient types include: General: COVID, sepsis, ETOH, IVDA, overdose, suicidal ideation, delirium, gastrointestinal bleeding, stroke with TPA, acute renal failure Surgical: General, open abdomen, orthopedic (total joints), ENT, OBGYN Cardiac/Vascular: Femoral-popliteal bypass, CABG, valve surgeries, post catheterization (radial approach), AAA, amputations No complex neuro post TNK/TPA PPE provided includes N95 and PAPRs Patient ratios: RN: 1:2 (acuity based) CNA: 1:8 during days, 1:17 during nights Support on the unit includes: Charge Nurse with occasional patient assignment Unit Secretary available during the day shift 24/7 Intensivist coverage ICU specific Pharmacist available during day shift Respiratory Therapy available 24/7 A phlebotomy team for peripheral draws Educator for bedside telemetry monitoring Charting System: EPIC (preferred) Floating: Intermediate units (1:3), Medical Surgical Units, Emergency Department boarding (1:4), Observation units (1:4) Travelers will float first Weekend rotation is required: every other weekend Day shift: 0700-1930 Night shift: 1930-0700 Requests for time off are subject to manager approval More than 2 sick calls may prompt discussion and evaluation of the contract Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
