Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to
provide specialized therapy services in a high school setting
located in Richton Park, IL. This role requires working three days
per week on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). Key
Responsibilities: Plan and deliver speech-language therapy
addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social
language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding,
and receptive and expressive language delays. Conduct diagnostic
and evaluation testing as appropriate. Prepare clear, comprehensive
reports based on student assessments and observations. Work
effectively with students aged 2 to 22 years with moderate to
severe disabilities. Develop and maintain Individualized Education
Program (IEP) objectives tailored to student needs. Collaborate and
communicate consistently with parents and team members to monitor
student progress and provide support recommendations.
Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible to hold an Illinois
Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
credential and a Professional Educator License (PEL). Preferably 1
to 2 years of experience as an SLP in a school environment. Strong
communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within
a team. Flexibility and problem-solving skills to address diverse
