working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Harvey, Illinois, 60426! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in an urban, Level I
Trauma Emergency Department preferred. License: Must have a valid
RN license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
Must-Have: Prior experience in urban, Level I Trauma Emergency
Department is required. First-time travelers accepted. Weekend
shifts required every other weekend. Floating between multiple
clinics is required. Description: The position involves rotating
between three clinics in the area. Staffing ratios are 1:4. Daily
patient census is approximately 86. This role involves the
management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and
various emergency cases. Skills required include phlebotomy,
starting and maintaining IVs, emergency medications, and triaging
patients. Experience in managing conditions such as CVA, spinal
cord injury, and mental health crises is essential.
Interdisciplinary support from radiology is available. All patients
across various age groups will be treated, including adolescents,
infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The emergency
department will handle diverse cases, emphasizing both adult and
pediatric populations. Successful candidates must meet all
licensure requirements and have the relevant certifications. 5
