Job Description:
Job Title: Surgical Tech 2 Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty:
- Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 2nd Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Two
years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist
License: High School/GED Certifications: American Heart Association
Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an equivalent
Must-Have: Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program, Military
Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist, or a sponsored
Apprentice II Program Description: As a member of the healthcare
team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for
patients. Ensures that the goals of the patients are met and the
mission of the facility is carried out. Performs procedures in a
variety of specialties requiring knowledge and skills. Demonstrates
a higher level of collaboration with peers in making decisions
related to surgical patient care. Other duties as assigned.
