Job Description Job Description CNC Set Up -Mills Operator:
Rockford , Illinois Our customer in Rockford, Illinois is looking
for a CNC Set Up-Mills Operators to work full-time on 1st shift. As
a CNC Set-Up Mills Operator, you will be responsible for setting up
CNC milling machines, including loading tooling and dies,
performing machine calibration, running production jobs to
specification, inspecting parts for quality using precision tools,
troubleshooting and resolving machine issues, and ensuring
compliance with safety and operational standards. Responsibilities
of the CNC Set Up - Mill s Operator : Perform machine setup and
calibration for various CNC machines using setup sheets. Operate
multiple CNC machines to produce parts, ensuring tight tolerances
and product quality. Troubleshoot and optimize machine performance
to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency. Inspect parts during
production using precision tools like micrometers and calipers to
meet specifications. Document production activities, including
machine performance and material usage, in ERP systems. Train new
hires, support team members in CNC processes, and collaborate with
maintenance teams for routine machine upkeep. CNC Set Up - Mill s
Operator Requirements and Qualifications: Must be 18 years or
older. High School Diploma/GED equivalent or significant relevant
work experience. 1-3 years of experience operating single-axis and
multi-axis CNC machinery (Mazaks, Doosans, INDEX, Nakamuras).
Proficiency with measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers,
gages). Ability to use hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, impacts)
and follow safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret
blueprints, part schematics, and follow written/verbal
instructions. Pay for CNC Set Up - Mill s Operator : Starting at
