Job Description Job Description Job Title: Brake Press Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to handle the operation of an 18-foot brake press machine, focusing on bending and forming metals. The role involves some setup of machinery based on work orders and operating machines efficiently. Responsibilities Operate an 18-foot brake press machine for bending and forming metals. Set up machines according to work orders and specifications. Utilize measuring devices to ensure precision in metal fabrication. Read and interpret blueprints and WPS specifications for accurate execution. Essential Skills Minimum of 6 months of experience in machine operating or fabricating in a factory setting. Proficiency in reading blueprints and WPS specifications. Familiarity with press brake operation, machine operating, and usage of measuring devices. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with micrometers and dial calipers is strongly preferred. Ability to operate various machinery such as punch press and fabrication equipment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
