Our client, a machine shop is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Machining Dept.The ideal candidate will have Mastercam Programming, and experience working with vertical machining centers which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CNC Machinist/Programmer (Mastercam preferred) 2nd shift Location: Green Bay, WI Pay Range: $35-45/hour $3/hour shift premium What’s the Job? Available machines: CNC Verticals (Hurco, OKK) CNC Horizontal boring bars (Doosan, G&L Floor Bar) CNC Lathes Manual Boring Bars What You’ll Do Set up, program, and operate CNC machines with precision. Perform complex milling, boring, drilling, and tapping on a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Handle part setup and in-process inspections directly at your machining center. Manage tooling setups and replace worn or damaged cutting tools as needed. Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth planning and execution of projects. What’s Needed? Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (preferred).
