Job Description Job Description Job Title: Cleanroom Technician (Entry Level) Job Description As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be responsible for operating molding, assembly, or packaging equipment to meet product specifications. This role is essential in ensuring our products are packaged, labeled, and inspected according to customer standards. Responsibilities Operate molding, assembly, or packaging equipment as required by product specifications. Package and label products per customer specifications. Perform visual inspections to identify defects and ensure products meet customer specifications. Report identified visual defects to the Cell Leader. Enter daily production and scrap data into the BMS. Complete production and workstation documentation as required. Move products to designated areas in WIP/airlocks. Order components through SAP from the warehouse and scan WIP components with an RF gun. Supply assembly machines with components. Complete LRPs, including opening and closing of lots, ensuring all paperwork is mistake-free. Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to 55 Standards in the work area daily, weekly, and monthly. Maintain Lean initiatives and participate in lean projects. Provide suggestions and actively participate in process improvements to eliminate non-value-added activities. Support and maintain all company policies, including ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, GMP, and standard work procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Willingness to wear GMP attire. Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Ability to stand and be on feet for the entire 12-hour shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with operating machinery is preferred. Assembly experience is a plus. GMP experience is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work takes place in a cleanroom environment as part of a contract manufacturing team, primarily producing products for the medical industry. The company operates multiple facilities, including two buildings in Buffalo Grove and a new site in Libertyville. Employees are required to adhere to GMP attire and maintain cleanliness standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
