Job Description Job Description Machinist Machinist - SECOND SHIFT Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Machinist for our FIRST SHIFT operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Vertical Machining Centers and CNC machinery, contributing to our manufacturing processes while ensuring precision and quality in all machined components. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers and CNC machines according to engineering specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing instructions. Perform quality checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery or equipment during the machining process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred. Proven experience as a Machinist, with a strong background in CNC and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with Vertical Machining Centers and other CNC machinery. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
