Job Description:
The manufacturing engineer will play a key role as a technical
expert in driving continuous improvement efforts throughout the
manufacturing facility. Utilizing their metal fabrication
experience, LEAN manufacturing skills, and process development
abilities, the manufacturing engineer will help enhance
manufacturing processes for existing and new product lines. Client
Details Our client is a global manufacturing company, specializing
in mechanical solutions, including metal stamping, plastic
injection molding, and high-level assembly. Their Chicagoland
facility spans 160,000 square feet and serves as a key hub for
their operations. Description The manufacturing engineer will be
responsible for acting as a liaison between sales and manufacturing
team to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner.
Responsibilities will include generating BOMs, SOPs, defining
manufacturing processes, and creating fixtures and jigs to support
production lines. Profile 3 years of manufacturing experience
Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes (robotic welding,
manual welding, metal stamping, press brakes) Experience with CAD
software Strong communication skills Custom product experience
Blueprint interpretation Job Offer Base salary up to $110,000 based
