or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
paraprofessional position is available for the 2025-2026 school
year at an elementary school in the North Chicago area. This role
supports classroom instruction and assists with managing the
dynamic environment of elementary students, including those with
challenging behaviors. Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers with
classroom management and instructional support Provide
individualized attention and 1:1 assistance to students as needed
Support students during classroom activities and learning sessions
Assist with toileting and personal care requirements as needed
Qualifications: Illinois Para certification is required Experience
working with elementary-aged students, particularly those with
challenging behaviors Preference for candidates with toileting
support experience Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic
classroom environment Work Schedule and Location: Monday through
Friday, 35 hours per week Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two
unpaid 15-minute breaks Work site is an elementary school in the
North Chicago area of Illinois This contract opportunity offers the
