Job Title: Field Hockey - Assistant Coach Reports to: Field Hockey Head Coach Terms and Conditions: Part-time, 3 hours per day, 6 days per week during fall sport season. Salary: Per Faculty Senate contract, level 4 stipend, $5,661 at entry level, pending contract negotiations. FLSA Status: Exempt Please, no phone calls. Oak Park and River Forest High School, or OPRF, is a comprehensive public high school located in Oak Park, Ill., a suburb eight miles due west of downtown Chicago. We are a one-school district, with the majority of our students coming from two sender districts, River Forest Public Schools District 90 and Oak Park Elementary School District 97. We offer more than 200 courses, a variety of programs for students with special needs, 75 clubs and activities, and 29 competitive sports. Qualifications: Illinois Professional Educators License or ASEP Coaching Certification required. Knowledge of the sport. Experiencing in coaching. Ability to work 2-3 hours per day, 5-6 days per week throughout the winter sport season. Job Description: The Assistant Coach for field hockey will work with and take direction from the Head Coach. This is a stipend position during the fall sport season. The time commitment is 2-3 hours per day for 5-6 days per week during the season. The stipend amount is defined by the Faculty Senate contract.
