Job Description:
Sr. Manager, Enterprise Risk Management sought by Merastar
Insurance Company in Chicago, IL. 40 hrs./wk. Duties include: Lead
development of cutting-edge risk analytics supporting decisions in
Property & Casualty, Life & Health, & Capital Mgmt. Partner with
model owners & developers to maintain & enhance internal capital
model. Support risk assessments & mgmt of enterprise risks. Consult
on risk adjusted decision making across organization. Maintain &
enhance risk-adjusted pricing methodologies. Develop ORSA filing to
support strong regulatory relationship & in compliance with
industry guidance. Provide oversight & analytical excellence in
support of Model Risk Management framework. Develop communication
materials to support dissemination of risk concepts throughout
organization. Monitor enterprise risks. Develop materials for
mgmt’s Enterprise Risk & Board’s Risk Committees. Provide
leadership on complex risk topics. Remote / telecommuting benefits
available. Hybrid position. Employee is required to go into office
once a week. Must reside in MSA of office worksite. MIN REQ.: Bach.
degree, or foreign equiv., in Finance, Economics, Risk Mgmt or
related field. 5 yrs exp. in job offered or in an Enterprise Risk
Mgmt (ERM), Finance, or Actuarial role. SPECIAL REQ: 5 yrs exp in:
insurance industry; Microsoft Office Suite; & preparing & analyzing
complex analysis & reports. 3 yrs exp interacting with senior
leadership. Travel: 5% short term domestic travel may be involved
to attend industry conferences. The range for this position is
$138,632 to $168,100. When determining candidate offers, we
