If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely with occasional office visits, providing you the best of both worlds. This role is open only to candidates residing in Chicago. Responsibilities: As an Employee Benefits Account Manager, your primary role will be to serve as the main point of contact for our clients, managing their employee benefits programs and ensuring their needs are met effectively. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Managing a portfolio of client accounts, including small and large groups. 2. Analyzing policies and making recommendations based on the specific needs of each client. 3. Preparing and presenting proposals and renewals to clients. 4. Developing and distributing Benefit Enrollment Guides to clients. 5. Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, COBRA, and other relevant regulations. 6. Managing the benefits enrollment process for clients, including the use of Flex plans. 7. Providing exceptional client service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive client relationships. 8. Collaborating with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of skills and experience that includes: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, specifically within the life, health, and benefits sector. 2. Proven experience managing both small and large group accounts. 3. Strong knowledge of renewals, proposals, and policy analysis. 4. Experience in developing Benefit Enrollment Guides. 5. Familiarity with HIPAA, COBRA, Flex plans, and other relevant regulations. 6. Excellent presentation and client management skills. 7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 8. The ability to work effectively in a hybrid/remote work environment. 9.
